The Silves Golf Course is part of the Pestana Golf Resort. It is situated near the town of Silves, 11km inland from Carvoeiro and around 37km from Lagos, 33km from Albufeira and 46km from Vilamoura.

Silves is a serene spot, but the Course is anything like the proverbial walk in the park. A drive on the opening hole has to flirt with two water hazards on both flanks and a nice straight shot will reward the player with an easy uphill approach. Silves is a test in precision and encourages and rewards attacking play.

It is a lovely Parkland Course with mountain and valley views, overlooking palm trees, olive groves and surrounding cork and citrus farms. 

The Silves Golf Course opened in 2006 and was designed by Fausto Nascimento and Peter Booth.
