Located in Torroella de Montgri, 48km from Girona airport and 147km from Barcelona airport. 

The Emporda Golf Resort has 36 holes. The Emporda Links Golf Course and the Emporda Forest Golf Course. They have an enviable location in some beautiful natural surroundings.

The Emporda Links Course with its treeless and barren appearance passes through dunes, lakes and strategically placed bunkers in the style of some of the best Scottish Golf Courses. It is an open but demanding Course. The greens are fairly small but fast and subtly contoured. The signature hole is the 18th which is surrounded by a lake and has a 300m2 green. Freedom, space and generosity are words that come to mind on describing this Course.

The Emporda Forest Course winds it way through pine forests and lakes in a more Mediterranean style. It is a classic Parkland Course, situated under the watchful eye of the Castle of Montgrí, with narrow tree lined fairways and some lovely holes. Shade, water, trees and silence are the key elements on this Course.  The Course passes through a well-tended Mediterranean pinewood in the heart of an exceptional landscape that is typical of the area. The invariable presence of the lakes and the layout of the fairways, lined with tall, native pines, are notable aspects of its design. The constant presence of water, although it sometimes presents a major challenge for golfers, does highlight the magnificence of the area.

The Emporda Golf Course opened in 1990 and was designed by Robert Von Hagge.
