Located on the coast, near Rota, 30km from Jerez, 120km from Sevilla airport and 139km from Gibraltar airport.

The 27 Championship holes and 9 hole Par 3 Course were built on flat farmland giving the architect a blank canvass to produce a versatile Course. The Course is walkable and very enjoyable to play. A magnificent design from Olazábal testing players from all levels, be it scratch handicaps to beginners. The Course is flat with slight undulations, strategically placed bunkers and lakes dotted around the course. Some holes are directly next to the sea, providing some stunning views.

The Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Course opened in 1995 and was designed by José Maria Olazábal (integral Golf Design).
