The Villa Padierna Golf Resort is located between San Pedro de Alcantara (Marbella) and Estepona.

There are 3 Golf Courses at the The Villa Padierna Golf Resort; Alferini Golf, Flamingos Golf and the Tramores Golf.

The Alferini Golf Course is a Championship Course with a long layout set in beautiful natural surroundings with breathtaking views. There are a minimum of 5 start platforms on each tee, so despite being a challenging Course (the most challenging of the Courses at Villa Padierna), it can be adapted to different playing levels and degrees of difficulty. Making it very rewarding for golfers of varied handicaps. With many large lakes, water comes into play on several holes. There are large generous greens and some of the fairways require pinpoint accuracy.

A buggy is recommended.

The Alferini Golf Course opened in 2007 and was designed by Cristóbal Guerrero Bautista.
