Based in Almerimar, Costa Almeria

The Campo de Golf Almerimar has established itself as one of the most popular on the Almería Coast. The 27 hole Golf Course combines water hazards and palm trees with wide fairways and lush vegetation. Together they create spots of singular beauty. The Almerimar Golf Course offers lots of possibilities for golf players of each level. It demands a high measure of concentration  from experienced golfers, yet it can also be mastered by beginners quite well. Obstacles, like the water surfaces and the skilfully placed bunkers can be well played. Bunkers and small ponds guard the greens and the fairways seem like carpets.

It has wide tree lined fairways, and large greens, which are well maintained and fast to play on. There are water features on several holes. The lush vegetation affords a pleasant oasis-style feel to a great holiday round!

In 2006 and 2007 the original 18-holes were improved. Greens and bunkers increased in size, the distance between the tee and the holes were increased, more water obstacles were added and a new and modern irrigation system was installed.

The first 18 holes at Almerimar Golf Course opened in 1976 and were designed by Gary Player and Rob Kirby. In 2005 a further 9 holes were added.
