The Higueron Marbella Golf Resort (formally known as the Marbella Golf and Country Club) is located in Marbella, only a few minutes from the centre of Marbella along the coastal road towards Fuengirola.

The Higueron Marbella Golf Course is imaginatively designed to respect the natural terrain and make the most of the spectacular Mediterranean backdrop. A testing but enjoyable Course, with some narrow fairways, elevated tees, water hazards and large undulating greens protected by bunkers.

A good Course where the buggy is normally included in the green fee. Each hole is uniquely challenging, although the 9th hole in particular, featuring several lakes and bunkers, is guaranteed to put even the most skilful golfer to the test. 

The Higueron Marbella Golf Course opened in 1994 and was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr.
